Everyone has a story, and mine is just as unbelievable as the next person. 2 Years ago I was admitted to NYU with viral Myocarditis (which is a virus that attacks your heart). I had 2 hospital stays, 2x in ICU, 3 blood transfusions, multiple procedures, and finally, a pacemaker implantation. To say that I'm lucky to be here is an understatement. 

The road to recovery has had it's ups and downs, but I live each day by saying everyday stronger. 

So now i'm giving back. Along with the Young Professionals of AHA, we are planning the 2018 Red Ball—and it's just around the corner. Buy a ticket, enjoy the party, open bar and dancing, or just donate if you can't make it. It will be the event of the year!
