Marissa A. Licata is currently, Outpatient Dietitian for Katz Institute of Women’s Health at Northwell Health where she focuses on the nutritional care of women across the life span paying special attention to health & wellness, heart disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal health and weight management.
Driven by the pursuit to help others fulfill a healthy lifestyle and achieve nutritional wellness, Marissa has spent sixteen years as a Registered Dietitian. Prior to joining Northwell Health, she was the Ambulatory Clinical Nutrition Manager of NewYork Presbyterian-Columbia Medical Center where she Co-Chaired the Ambulatory Patient Education Committee and was responsible for operations of clinical nutrition program for 13 primary care and specialty care practices. She also served as Clinical Nutrition Manager of University of California, Davis Health System where she oversaw all aspects of clinical nutrition services and the Dietetic Internship Program. Marissa has also held key clinical nutrition leadership roles at ARAMARK and Beth Israel Medical Center-Petrie Division.
Marissa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Food & Nutrition from Long Island University, C.W. Post. She also earned her Masters of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from New England College and completed her Dietetic Internship at NewYork Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center.
